I love the Joe Snyder product line for its modern lines, conservative styling, quality manufacturing, and comfort. I have numerous pairs of the Joe Snyder Men’s Thong 03, and when I saw the Joe Snyder Mini Cheek 22, I knew right away that I had to give it a try. I’ve always loved the look of cheeky thongs and was eager to try one myself.
Thong Specs
The Joe Snyder Mini Cheek 22 is made from soft elastic fabric which is designed to conform to the shape of the body. The fabric is lightweight, seems to be moisture wicking (though there’s no mention specifically on the Joe Snyder website), and durable. It’s available in sizes Small through Extra Large, and is available in a variety of different colors.
Thong Comfort
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a cheeky thong (Joe Snyder actually lists this as a boxer brief, but it’s really more of a cheeky thong). I found it to be surprisingly comfortable. Once the fabric “settles in” in the back, which can take some adjustment and patience, it’s actually barely noticeable and the lightweight material conforms to the shape of the body. While I’d prefer a bit more space in the front pouch, the available space is manageable. For those with a larger package, they may wish to consider the Daniel Alexander Emotion Slip Thong, which has a bit more room up front.
Another consideration is that the Joe Snyder website advises to size up one size, so that could make the difference as I hadn’t noticed that before ordering. Even still, a size Large still worked well for me at 5’7″ and 155 pounds with a 32″ waist. I’ll be curious to try an Extra Large to see how that goes.
The fabric is soft and light enough for all day wear, and this thong offer plenty of freedom of movement for working out, though I’d certainly prefer a thinner back strip and less coverage for anything athletic. This thong is more for feeling sexy under your clothes, or for once you remove your clothes with your partner.
Thong Style
I do love the styling of the Joe Snyder Mini Cheek 22. I’ve always found the cheeky styles to be incredibly sexy, and I found them to feel as sexy on as they do while looking at them. As this thong looks more like a bikini with minimal back coverage, it feels slightly more conservative than other thongs. I would propose that it could easily be repurposed as swimwear due to the fabric and having slightly more coverage than a traditional thong.
Summary
For a fun and sexy alternative to more traditional thong styles, do consider trying the Joe Snyder Mini Cheek 22. The styling is a fun departure from standard thongs, and the cheeky cut really shows off the glutes extremely well.
