I just put on my brand new Doreanse 1280 Hang Loose Thong today and I’m already hooked. Just when I thought I had found the most comfortable thong I’ve ever worn in the Jack Adams Filament Thong, this option from Doreanse absolutely blew me away, and I can’t wait to purchase more of these.
Thong Specs
The Doreanse underwear line is Turkish, and their thong offerings are just as delicious as their coffee. The Doreanse 1280 Hang Loose Thong is made from 45% Modal 45% Cotton 10% Lycra, a combination that makes for the softest material I’ve ever encountered in a thong. Doreanse advertises the fabric as being quick drying and resilient. Based on how thin the fabric is, I’d take their word on the quick drying claims. The construction of the thong feels formidable, and I’m confident enough in what I’m seeing initially to be willing to purchase a few more pairs.
Thong Comfort
As previously stated, the Doreanse 1280 Hang Loose Thong is the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. This is due in large part to the incredible soft fabric, which is barely noticeable against the skin. The rear strip of fabric is also much thinner than most men’s thongs (though not as thin as a g-string such as the HOM Freddy G-String) even though the garment fits and feels more like a g-string than a thong. This makes the rear strip barely noticeably and the garment simply drapes on the skin effortlessly.
For working out or sports, I might choose a more supportive thong such as the Jockey Sport Stability Pouch Microfiber Thong for its moisture wicking material and supportive front pouch. That said, this Doreanse thong provides ample support for all-day wear. There’s just not a dedicated front pouch shaped specifically for support. Even without a dedicated pouch, there’s plenty of room in the front for all shapes and sizes.
As with all of my other reviews, I’d recommend sizing up if you’re in doubt about your size. For reference, I’m 5’7″, 155 pounds, and have a 32″ waist. Per the Doreanse size chart, I should be wearing a size medium, but I ordered a large instead as every large I’ve ever ordered has fit perfectly. My strategy proved correct, and I couldn’t imagine wearing a medium all day unless it was motivated by a masochistic streak. In short, order the same size you normally wear in all of your other underwear regardless of what the Doreanse size chart says.
Thong Style
I love the simplicity and the classic lines of this thong. I wouldn’t mind a bit more “character” as it looks slightly generic, but perhaps that’s its appeal. The Doreanse 1280 Hang Loose Thong is about as conservative as a men’s thong gets, which can make it appealing for many first time thong wearers.
Summary
The Doreanse 1280 Hang Loose Thong is the perfect thong for the first time thong wearer, or the perfect everyday thong for anyone. It requires almost no adjustment period, it feels and looks sexy, and the soft material and thin strip of fabric in the back make this thong feel about as close to wearing nothing as is possible. I highly recommend this thong! Now I’m going to go order a few more pairs.
